Two of us planned an impromptu trip to Tong Sam Gyup Goo Ee Restaurant in Flushing, NY tonight. We went there with plans to only eat the kimchi naeng myung because of the ‘ice bowl’ it comes in but we caved in and ordered sam gyup sal and bibimbap too. While the meal wasn’t spectacular, it was still very delicious and the perfect for this summer weather. If only it wasn’t a workday, we may have enjoyed the meal with a bottle or two of Soju. We also vowed to bring better cameras next time to take the pictures so stay tuned!
Finally got around to going to Brooklyn and the Good Fork. For most of us, it was a long walk from the subway to the restaurant but boy was it worth it. The dumplings, which they are known for was a bit overrated but the rest of the food…. AMAZING!! Every one of us enjoyed your entrees thoroughly.
Overall, Good Fork was a wonderful experience and a definite recommendation for anyone interested.
